ASUM has the privilege of administering a student sonographer scholarship on behalf of the estate of Dr Delwyn Nicholls. Many of you will fondly remember Delwyn, who we sadly lost in 2020 after battling breast cancer. Delwyn was a sonographer with a passion for ultrasound education and a generous spirit to always help others.
The scholarship is designed to support rural Australian sonographers in their 3rd or final year of study, with a $5,000 grant for successful applicants who would normally reside in regional Australia. Applications are now open and close on Friday, 16 August 2024.
