This program has been designed to provide attendees with a broad overview of contrast imaging, followed by deep dive presentations exploring detailed aspects of the technique in a variety of different clinical scenarios, including in the critical care setting. Care has been taken to incorporate ASE/EACVI guidelines into talks to demonstrate how and why they should be applied in your daily practice. This is an incredibly unique program presented by an international faculty.

Understanding Clinician Performed Ultrasound for neonates: Simulation Workshop

This workshop provides the principles for understanding the physiopathology of the hypoxic neonate, and an introduction to cardiac clinician-performed ultrasound in neonates. It includes practice of different clinical scenarios in an ultrasound neonatal simulator, to allow the participants to obtain skills in the interpretation of different ultrasound views and the management of the hypoxic neonate. The Alfred ICU Critical Care Echocardiography Course

The Alfred ICU runs a two day course on critical care echocardiography limited to 20 participants. With an emphasis on practical (TTE) echo skills acquisition, Interpreting echo data in the context of critical care scenarios and developing reporting skills. The teaching faculty comprises echocardiography-trained critical care consultants with 2:1 group sizes. Our aim is for you to gain practical echocardiography knowledge and skills that you can immediately apply to your patients. This course is a vital step towards achieving confidence and competence in critical care echocardiography.

Satellite Rheumatology Ultrasound Workshop pre Australian Rheumatology Association annual scientific meeting to be held in Christchurch, New Zealand. Limited spots.
