ASUM Outreach Ltd.
The Company has been established to be a charity whose public charitable purpose is to advance health through assisting in furthering the objects of Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. ASUM Outreach advances the use of clinical ultrasound through education and workshops to a multi-disciplinary group of medical professionals spanning Radiology, Nurse Practitioners, Allied Health and Medical Practitioners. Through this work ASUM Outreach aims to improve patient outcomes in resource-limited communities throughout Australasia and Oceania.
ASUM is the Australasian representative of ISUOG – International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and WFUMB – the World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology.
