This page provides information for individuals and organisations seeking to become an ASUM Accredited Course Provider, as well as existing providers looking to renew or update their accreditation status.

When submitting your application to become an ASUM Accredited Course Provider please submit the following documents to support the application process:

To apply to be an ASUM Accredited Course Provider please complete the Accredited Course Provider – Application and submit the required documents which include:

To apply to be an ASUM Accredited Course Provider (Special Skills Placement) please complete the Accredited Course Provider – Application and submit the required documents which include:
- Course content
- Timetable/ Program that outlines time, topic and outcomes included
- Faculty list
- Faculty CVs
- Pre and post quizzes with answers
- Course feedback/Evaluation form
- Textbook and learning resources
- Course certificate sample
There is a fee of A$160 per Course.
You can share the ASUM Accredited Course Provider badge with QR code which includes information of your ASUM accredited course and the course accreditation period.
Note for candidates: ASUM is currently implementing the QR badges and not all Accredited Course Providers will have one for their course. If a Course Provider does not have this QR badge and you want to confirm they are an ASUM Accredited Course Provider, you can check their details and course on the Accredited Course Provider Register.

The Accredited Course Provider badge with QR code includes the name of the course and accreditation period. This provides assurance to candidates that the provider is an ASUM Accredited Course Provider for the ASUM-CCPU Unit.
Note for candidates: ASUM is currently implementing the QR badges and not all Accredited Course Providers will have one for their course. If a Course Provider does not have this QR badge and you want to confirm they are an ASUM Accredited Course Provider, you can check their details and course on the Accredited Course Provider Register.
ASUM are currently implementing a new badge for Accredited Course Providers. These will be issued at the time of your re-accreditation.
If would like the QR code badge before the expiry of your current course accreditation, please reach out to education@asum.com.au and we can issue the new badge to you.
If there has been no change to the faculty or course content, then you can complete the Reaccreditation Self Declaration Form
There is a fee of A$150 per Course for re-accreditation. Once you form has been submitted you will receive an invoice for the reaccreditation. Please note that your course will only be issued with a certificate and added to the ASUM website once the invoice is paid in full.
If there has been a change in your course structure, program or faculty then you will need to complete a new application. Please refer to FAQ related to new applications to see what documents you need to supply to support the application.
Accreditation lasts for 3 years. You will be provided with a QR code badge and a certificate of accreditation. The certificate includes the applicable ASUM-CCPU units and the accreditation period.
The ASUM course accreditation badge with QR code must be applied to your promotion of the course.
There is a reaccreditation fee of $150 per Course.
