About the role

You will cover the complete general caseload: general abdominal and small parts, obstetrics and gynaecology, musculoskeletal, and vascular. It is genuinely varied work. In a practice this size you see everything the community brings through the door, and the role will not narrow over time.

The long-standing colleague you are replacing had a free hand to build the way we scan here. We are looking for someone who wants the same. Your view on protocols, equipment, appointment structure and how the list runs will be sought and acted on — not filtered through a committee in another city. This suits a sonographer who has a clear view of how a good ultrasound service should work, and has been waiting for somewhere to apply it.

Full time, Monday to Friday. No weekends, no on-call, no after-hours. Canon Aplio i600. Digital ultrasound worksheets that improve accuracy and report writing.
