Key Message from NZ Ministry of Health

For radiology decision to remove nasal bone from the risk algorithm.

We wish to make members aware of a recent announcement by the New Zealand Ministry of Health (9Mar18) that the decision has been made to no longer include absence of nasal bone from T21 risk assessment scans.

Details regarding this announcement have been included in the ‘Latest News/Updates’ section of the ASUM Standards of Practice webpage.

Australian Gov Department of HealthConsultation for MSAC application – New mobile ultrasound services for residential aged care facilities

draft policy has been released by the Commonwealth Medical Services Advisory Committee, seeking stakeholder feedback on the proposed plan to offer mobile ultrasound or X-ray imaging to patients residing in Residential Aged Care Facilities.
