Susan Campbell Westerway confirmed as new Chair of Pg DMU (Asia) BoE

Susan Campbell Westerway has been confirmed as the new Chair of Pg DMU (Asia) BoE. Sue has participated on the Pg DMU (Asia) Board since 2013 and actively participates in the program as a Lecturer and examiner.

Sue was ASUM President 2014-2016 and has been a WFUMB Councilor since 2015. She is Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences at Charles Sturt University in NSW Australia and is on the Health Expert Standing Panel for the Australian Government. Sue has been involved in medical ultrasound since 1975 her research work has included fetal growth/ethnicity & fetal biometry.  More recently she has become a worldwide advocate for infection control in the clinical ultrasound environment, being Chair of the WFUMB Infection Control Survey Taskforce and teaming with Dr Jocelyne Basseal to publish numerous articles on the subject and co-lead the creation of the new ASUM / ACIPC Guidelines.

Sue is the senior Sonographer at Northern Women’s Imaging in Sydney, is a tutor and examiner for many Australian and international universities and colleges, a traveling educator for international aid projects, first author of over 30 journal articles. She has an extensive national & international speaking program.
