It is with regret that I announce that after almost five years at the helm of ASUM, the preeminent body for ultrasound in Australasia, Annie Gibbins our CEO has tendered her resignation to further her career in medical education.
Annie was tasked with not only the re-branding of ASUM but leading it through the process of becoming a registered training organisation. Her dedication has seen many new initiatives being instigated within the wider ASUM community – including additional educational offerings, extensive nation wide one day workshops and increased membership benefits. She has led a dedicated office staff, each of whom play an integral role in the everyday running of such a successful society.
Annie leaves ASUM in a very strong position for future growth & sustainability and we thank her for being such a wonderful team leader and role model.
The Council will begin the recruitment process for a replacement CEO over the coming weeks and we wish Annie a successful future as she progresses her career.
