Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound (CCPU)
The Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound (CCPU) is offered by the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) as a credential for medical practitioners who are not imaging specialists but who may use ultrasound as a diagnostic tool at the point of care.
Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU)
The Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU) is a qualification for Sonologists available to medical specialists and registrars in those specialty areas where a specialists imaging qualification is appropriate. The DDU is offered as a post-graduate professional qualification, for which candidates undergo self directed learning using the available syllabus and reading lists.
Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography (DMU)
The Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography (DMU) is an internationally recognised, ASAR accredited qualification in diagnostic ultrasound which enables the holder to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations. The DMU is offered as a self directed qualification which includes a period of practical training and examination.
