TENNIS
ELBOW. HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR FIRST SERVE
Dr Cheryl Bass MBChB MRCP(UK) RANZCR, Victoria House

Introduction
Tennis elbow, the colloquial name for lateral epicondylitis,
although not confined to tennis players is thought
to be the result of repetitive microtrauma which disrupts
the tendon fibres. This fibrillar disruption and the
angiofibrotic response evoked are mirrored by the
ultrasound findings.
