Chris Kohlenberg Teaching Fellowship (Sponsored by GE)
The Chris Kohlenberg Teaching Fellowships were established to increase the educational opportunities for members outside the major centres. Each teaching fellow is appointed by the education committee to conduct workshops and seminars primarily, but not exclusively, in centres that would not normally host a major scientific meeting.

From 2006, The Beresford Buttery Overseas Traineeship will be replaced with a teaching fellowship which will focus on major city centres in either Austraila or New Zealand.
We are very excited about these new arrangements as more of our members will be able to benefit by attending theses workshops and meetings.

Beresford Buttery Overseas Traineeship - (Sponsored by GE Healthcare)
The Beresford Buttery Overseas Traineeship covers attendance at an appropriate educational program at the Thomas Jefferson Research and Education Institute in Philadelphia, USA and will include tuition fees, economy airfare and accommodation for the duration of the course (usually 4 days). The award is made to a member who seeks to further develop his or her skills and experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and has completed his or her most recent ultrasound qualification in the past 10 years. The award is made by the Education Committee to the applicant judged to be most closely fitting the published criteria, on the basis of material submitted by the applicant.
