Certificate of Clinician Performed Ultrasound (Emergency)

Performance and use of ultrasound by clinicians at point of care to guide acute clinical care is now common place, but training & accreditation has not yet been addressed.

The Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound (CCPU) is offered by the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) as a credential for medical practitioners who are not imaging specialists but who may use ultrasound as a diagnostic tool at the point of care. The CCPU is awarded by the ASUM Council on the recommendation of the ASUM CCPU Certification Board.
